The Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (IEC) at Afeka Tel-Aviv Academic College of Engineering embodies this vision. For engineers, innovation and entrepreneurship are a way of life – whether they are starting their own venture or micro-venture or whether they are employees developing new products for their company – innovation and entrepreneurship skills are crucial to success.

Afeka’s IEC offers a range of experiential activities that provide opportunities for developing the mindset and multi-disciplinary skill set and values of an entrepreneur. Students, faculty, alumni and external participants are all welcome to the IEC at Afeka where we will help them develop a passion for technology innovation and provide support in their endeavors. The center works closely with industry organizations, hospitals and VCs that offer guidance from experienced mentors.

There is always something going on at the IEC – meetups, hackathons, workshops, lectures, accelerator programs and much more. Each offering provides added-value to participants and is delivered through active experiences. We have developed a vibrant community of participants and contributors who continuously support, motivate and inspire one another, thus creating both a unique atmosphere and effective learning process.
